Welcome to Friends of St Mary’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
We are a volunteer group of parents/carers and staff who organise and run events across the academic year to raise vital funds for school resources.
Whether it’s revamping a play area, subsidising a school trip, or buying new books, arts and crafts resources, we work together to make sure that every penny counts and so that our children’s time at St Mary’s is the very best it can be.
Just by supporting an event you’ll be directly contributing to improving your child’s school experience.
It takes a village – and St Mary’s is ours!
The PTA depends on the time, skills and generosity of our volunteers.
All parents/carers with a child at the school are automatically part of the PTA and are invited to come along to our regular meetings. Everyone is welcome and everyone’s contribution is valuable, no matter how much or how little you can give and whether it’s a fundraising idea, a raffle prize or just an hour or two to help out at events.
Please see below for details of our committee members. We also have representatives for each year group to help with communication across the school, fundraising ideas and support.

Committee members and year group representatives will be elected/re-elected by formal vote at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), where we will also report back on how much money has been raised over the preceding year and what it was or is being spent on.
Minutes from the AGM and committee meetings throughout the year will also be published here for anyone who is interested but unable to attend.
