Drop Everything and Read

Takes place on: 25th September 2026
We will be holding our first drop everything and read session on Friday 25th September from 2.45pm to 3.15pm. For any parents who are new to the school or not sure how it works here is a little bit of information about the session. The session is an opportunity to share a book with your child in their new classroom setting. You will be able to see a range of books aimed at your child’s reading age and hopefully enjoy some exciting new stories together and getting to meet the staff team. Please arrive at 2.45pm, when the school gates will be opened and you will be directed as follows: Nursery, Reception and Y1 parents please head towards the Nursery/Reception play area, where you will be met by a member of staff. Year 3, 4, 5 parents will arrive and enter via their child’s classroom doors through the main playground. Year 2 and Y6 parents will arrive via the main office and be directed to the classrooms.
